Nisha relocated to Singapore in February 2013 to spearhead the growth of BLP’s private client practice in Asia.
Nisha advises individuals and families in Asia on a broad range of UK and international tax and estate planning issues. She also advises trust companies and wealth management institutions in the Asia region on tax and fiduciary matters. Nisha has a particular expertise in advising families with multi-jurisdictional connections on the creation and restructuring of wealth holding structures. Nisha has an impressive list of institutional clients and acts for a number of the leading private banks and trust companies in Singapore.
Nisha regularly speaks at seminars in Hong Kong and Singapore. She also writes on wealth planning matters and she is frequently featured in the media in Asia as a commentator on trust and tax developments.
Nisha is recognised by leading legal directory, Chambers Asia Pacific 2014, as a leading lawyer for Private Client/Wealth Management (Singapore).
Nisha is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the International Tax Planning Association.
Nisha graduated from Newnham College Cambridge University with a First Class Honours in Law. She trained in London and qualified in 2006, relocated to Hong Kong in 2008 and joined BLP in London in 2009.
