Charity Commission guidance: An update for trustees

Posted by on

The Charity Commission has published updated guidance on charity trustees’ duties, ‘The essential trustee (CC3)’. This provides, amongst other things, details of what trustees “must” and “should” do, and is probably most likely to be useful for current trustees wishing to refresh their understanding of their duties and obligations.

To accompany this, the Charity Commission has also produced ‘Charity trustee: what’s involved (CC3a)’.  This is a shorter overview of the role of a trustee, which might be useful for individuals considering whether to become trustees.

A PDF copy of the Charity Commission's 'The essential trustee (CC3)' guidance can be downloaded by clicking here and a copy of the 'Charity trustee: what’s involved (CC3a)' guidance can be accessed via this link: https://www.gov.uk/charity-trustee-whats-involved.
