Project Finance expert Tom Eldridge joins BCLP
International law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner today announced the hire of new Partner Tom Eldridge to bolster its global Projects & Infrastructure Finance capabilities. He begins his role today and will be based in the firm’s London office.
Tom is a highly rated and respected lawyer in the international project finance field who will service the firm’s global clients and prospects in the energy, natural resources, infrastructure and mining sectors. Tom will particularly focus on the mining sector, where he has previously advised large European-based banks and other lenders.
Tom’s broad transactional experience covers project development, project finance, PPP/PFI, ECA/export finance and various forms of offtaker (prepays, streaming) and royalty finance. His more general banking expertise includes general corporate lending, syndicated lending and trade finance.
Tom joins the firm from Mayer Brown, where he was Partner in the Project Finance Group. He was previously at Dentons where he headed up the firm’s Project Finance group from 2012 to 2016 and was leading member of their Africa group. Tom qualified with Dentons in 1999 after training with them and was integral to the growth of the firm’s Project Finance practice both in London and globally.
