Goltsblat BLP receives Chambers Europe Award for ‘Excellence in Client Service – Russia’

Goltsblat BLP, Russia’s first international law firm, has had its outstanding service recognised once more with success in the Client Service category of the respected Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence 2010.

The annual award demonstrates the excellent relationship that Goltsblat BLP has developed, and which it is maintaining, with its clients.  The award rankings are based on a widespread survey of leading business figures in each country; with winners selected for their responsive, accessible and dedicated teams of lawyers.

Andrey Goltsblat, managing partner of Goltsblat BLP, commented on the award: “We are delighted to have been recognised by Chambers Europe for the very high quality of our service and welcome this strong endorsement from our clients. Our merger, with leading UK firm BLP means we are now able to offer our clients a broader range of services, especially on international projects, all within one firm.

As a result, we have been able to strengthen our team with the appointment of Rustam Kurmaev as Dispute Resolution partner and Andrey Shpak as Tax partner. We look forward to extending our capabilities even further in the future.”

BLP’s managing partner Neville Eisenberg added: “Exceeding our clients’ expectations is one of the firm’s key goals and I am proud of the standards set by our colleagues in Moscow in service excellence.”

Goltsblat BLP was recently awarded the Legal500, Legal Business Award 2010 in the category “International Office of the Year 2010”; and in April, the firm was also named “Best law Firm in Russia” at the International Law Office Awards.
