BLP advises ITIS Holdings on South African joint venture

Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP (BLP) advised longstanding AIM-listed client ITIS Holdings plc, a leading supplier of traffic and travel information, on the creation of a 50:50 joint venture in South Africa with Altech Netstar (Pty) Ltd.  Altech Netstar is the leading stolen vehicle tracking and fleet management company in Africa.

The BLP team advising ITIS Holdings was led by corporate finance partner Jonathan Morris, assisted by senior associate Sharon Potter (corporate finance) and associate director Jonathan Dickson (business and technology services).

Commenting on the transaction, Jonathan Morris said:  “We were delighted to work with ITIS Holdings on their first joint venture in Africa, having previously advised them on similar deals in Australia and Israel.”

BLP worked in conjunction with Jonathan Lang and Ineke Bosman of Bowman Gilfillan, one of BLP’s South African preferred law firms.
