BLP advises Gett on share capital offer

International law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has advised GT Gettaxi Limited and GT Gettaxi (UK) Limited, which trade under the Gett brand, on their recommended offer for the entire issued share capital of Mountview House Group Limited, the owner and operator of the Radio Taxis black cab business and the One Transport platform.

The offer was declared unconditional as to acceptance on 11 April 2016 and is expected to complete by the end of April.

Gett operates the global on-demand taxi app and the acquisition will bring the total number of Gett black cabs in London to 11,500.

Jonathan Morris, Head of Corporate at BLP and Client Relationship Partner for Gett, commented: “Our Corporate Finance team is fast-building a strong reputation for advising innovative companies like Gett. Gett is an exciting growth company operating in a high profile sector and we look forward to assisting them with their future plans.”

The Corporate Finance team was led by Partner Murdoch Currie, assisted by Associate Lee Sharma, in conjunction with Gett General Counsel, Shana Hook.
