BLP advises Cenkos Securities on Malaysian Technology Group AIM Flotation

Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP (BLP) advised Cenkos Securities as broker and nominated adviser to Malaysian Data centre services provider CSF Group on its flotation on AIM and the related £28 million fundraising. The transaction, which is the largest new listing on the junior exchange by an Asian technology company for more than a year, had a market capitalisation of £88m.

The BLP team was led by Corporate Finance Partner, Benjamin Lee, assisted by Richard Werner and Brian Mulkerrins.

Commenting on the deal, Benjamin Lee said “This placing is the largest new issue on AIM in more than a year by an Asian technology company and after a couple of poor years for AIM, the flotation of CSF Group is great news. 2010 should see the market improve following the slow down in 2009.”

CSF is the latest in a growing number of companies planning to join AIM this year.

Stephenson Harwood acted for the other side.
