Nigel joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in early 2014 having spent his earlier career with Norton Rose Fulbright. He spent 4 years in London with the shipping finance team, 2 years in Bahrain advising on credit restructurings and early Islamic finance structures and returned to London in 1989. He established the Paris office of NRF in 1990 and led the asset finance practice (focused on shipping, aviation, commodities and oil and gas) until he re-located to Beijing to establish the firm’s outbound debt finance practice in 2009. In Beijing he has advised Chinese and international financial institution on a range of outbound asset and project finance structures. He is qualified in England and France.
