Development of Chelsea Barracks

Advising Qatari Diar on the high profile redevelopment of the 12.8 acre Chelsea Barracks site, London SW1. Leading a multidisciplinary team advising on all real estate, construction and financing aspects, including developing a procurement strategy for multi-phased development of residential accommodation together with associated infrastructure and public realm.


Shell Centre site on London’s South Bank

Advising Canary Wharf and Qatari Diar on the development of the Shell Centre site on London’s South Bank. This will be one of the largest developments in London and will comprise up to 798 homes, 76,000 sq m of office floor space including a new headquarters building for Shell, up to 6,000 sq m of retail floor space and up to 2,500 sq m of community leisure space as well as associated basement, plant and infrastructure. Providing strategic construction procurement advice for residential led mixed use scheme.


Land Securities

Advising Land Securities on numerous office and residential developments with an aggregate construction spend in excess of £1billion including Wellington House, Kings Gate, the Zig Zag building 1&2 New Ludgate and the 897,000 square feet mixed used Nova development.


Redevelopment of Heron Plaza

Advising UOL on its redevelopment of Heron Plaza, a 3,200-sq m prime site that will be developed into a 43-storey tower comprising 109 residential units for sale, a 190-room hotel, and a retail component. As a substantial Singapore property company listed on the Singapore Exchange with total assets worth more than $10 billion in Asia and Australia, this is UOL’s first foray into the UK real estate market.


"Walkie Talkie" joint venture

Advised Canary Wharf and Land Securities on the procurement of 20 Fenchurch Street, the “Walkie Talkie” joint venture on all of the professional appointments including the appointment of the signature architect Rafael Vinoly. Also advised on the procurement strategy and terms of the material trade contracts.


National Football Centre

Advised The Football Association on all aspects of the development and financing of the National Football Centre, now known as St George’s Park. St George’s Park comprises 12 outdoor pitches, two hotels and a medical facility as well as other leisure facilities. Also advised the FA on its office relocation from Soho Square to Wembley Stadium including advising on the fit-out of their office space.
