Michael is a partner in the International Arbitration group within BLP's Litigation and Corporate Risk department.
He has extensive experience in handling shareholder disputes, and claims for breach of contract, for breach of fiduciary duty, and for breach of warranty.
He also has substantial expertise in dealing with issues involving the conflict of laws.
Michael is a member of the IBA, the ABA, the LCIA and the BIICL. He represented the IBA during the negotiations at the Hague Conference on Private International Law which discussed the adoption of a worldwide jurisdiction and judgments convention.
Michael acts as counsel before arbitration tribunals. His recent instructions have involved arbitrations under LCIAand ICC Rules and ad hoc arbitrations with seats in London, Singapore and Stockholm.
He is named as a leading individual in commercial litigation in Chambers UK 2010.
