Senior Associate, Corporate Commercial

Greg has been practicing in Dubai for more than ten years and brings an impressive range of corporate and commercial experience across a broad range of sectors, including hospitality and leisure and energy, principally representing clients based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Greg’s corporate experience has seen him lead numerous cross-border and regional mergers and acquisitions, disposals, private equity transactions, joint venture arrangements, and group-restructurings, as well as advise on corporate governance requirements and strategies, while his extensive commercial experience includes advising on and negotiating franchise, sponsorship, supply, consultancy and distribution agreements across various sectors. 

Greg advises a broad range of clients of all sizes: from SMEs to publicly listed companies.  Prior to joining the firm, Greg was general counsel at a multi-national Dubai-based single-family office, where he advised on various matters common to this category of client, including extra-judicial criminal considerations, corporate governance, group structural and asset discovery, inheritance and succession structuring, acquisitions, divestments, restructurings and planning for future IPOs.

Greg is an associate member of the United Kingdom Institute of Directors.
