Contested Public takeover of Invista Holding PLC

Public takeover of Invista Real Estate Investment Management Holdings PLC, the AIM-listed real estate investment manager, for approximately £40m (one of the largest P2Ps in the UK real estate sector). The completion of the transaction, which was effected by a scheme of arrangement under the Takeover Code, represented the culmination of a process in which Invista received a number of offer proposals.

Leadenhall Building

Advising CC Land Holdings on the £1.15bn acquisition of the Jersey company owning 122 Leadenhall Street, “The Cheesegrater”, from a joint venture between British Land and Oxford Properties. This is the biggest single asset property deal in the City and the second biggest in the UK. Runner up for Real Estate Team of the Year, Lawyer Awards 2017.

Technicolor acquisition of the Mill

Advising Technicolor on its acquisition of London-based The Mill, the world’s largest visual effects and content creation studio for the advertising industry, for €259 million on a debt-free basis. The Mill was the lead VFX house on Gladiator, which won an Oscar for VFX.
