Our already comprehensive VAT practice is led by Alan, Head of VAT, who is renowned as one of the leading VAT practitioners in the UK and has over 15 years of experience in advising on a wide variety of both contentious and non-contentious VAT issues. 

Our VAT practice provides cutting edge and practical advice on a wide range of VAT issues. This includes advice on the VAT aspects of financial services, property acquisitions, developments, and investments. We liaise with the contentious tax team in providing strategic advice on the whole range of risk issues, formal enquiries and investigations by HMRC including litigation at Tribunal level, in the Higher Courts and the European Court of Justice.

The team also provides stand alone VAT advice to a range of clients on all aspects of daily business.
