Our lawyers are specialists, many having worked in the industry as in-house lawyers, in technical roles or as regulators.  We believe that our in-depth experience from a number of perspectives – public and private, supplier and customer – means that we offer advice to match your needs and ways of doing business.

The team believes that “technology”, “media” and “telecoms” are no longer three distinct sectors or areas of expertise – the ways in which technology can be used to connect, process, communicate, publish and consume are now so converged that it is impossible to treat these as separate.

We pride ourselves on being able to advise on the interaction of the two cornerstones of TMT advice: intellectual property and contract law. Alongside this, depending on the project, other skills are brought to bear, ranging from advice on widely differing regulatory regimes. For example, we have advised our clients on financial services compliance in IT outsourcing projects, e-commerce and data protection compliance in many web and mobile based projects and planning aspects of placing mobile phone masts.
