We have expertise in a wide range of regulated sectors, including aviation, betting and gaming, broadcasting, rail, energy and water.  We advise on the interaction between general competition law and sector-specific competition rules, and handle the additional complexity associated with merger transactions in regulated sectors. We also advise on purely regulatory issues, such as media ownership rules or water licensing issues.

In addition, our presence in Brussels enables us to track new European regulations and to advise on the interplay between EU regulation and national implementation. 

The breadth of our expertise across a number of sectors, combined with our in-depth knowledge of individual sectors, enables us to find creative solutions to regulatory issues, while maintaining the necessary level of expertise to advise on specific questions affecting one sector. 

We work closely with colleagues across the firm through our firm-wide sector focus groups covering water, energy, aviation, betting and gaming, rail, and technology, media and telecoms.
