  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Members of our team have advised on major sector related acquisitions involving opportunities in Africa, Indonesia, Russia and the former CIS countries, Mongolia, South America and elsewhere in the world. We are ranked by the leading legal directories in the top category for mid-market M&A and we are also ranked for high end M&A capability. The team has also worked on some of the largest M&A transactions in SE Asia, including the US$2.07bn sale by Bumi of PT Bumi Resources Minerals to Vallar.
  • Project Finance and Asset Financing: Team members have worked on project financing transactions in relation to captive power, ports, conveyors and infrastructure projects for mines.
  • Operating and Commercial Contracts: Lawyers in our team have worked on the full spectrum of operating and commercial contracts, including: acquisition of exploration permits; joint venture/earn ins; contract mining agreements; concessions; royalty agreements; long term sales/offtake agreements; transhipment and rail transportation agreements.
