Examining the likely impact of Lisa Osofsky’s impending leadership, Andrew and Joseph explained,

The arrival of a director who is familiar with the world of US enforcement could be taken as a sign of closer cooperation between the UK and the US. However, the reality is that there is already close (and still growing) cooperation between international regulators and enforcement agencies. The new director will likely oversee more cooperation but this would probably have been the case whomever was appointed.
