Toyota are considering action against the Vote Leave campaign for trade mark infringement after their logo was used in a pamphlet without their consent.

Global brand names and trade marks

Selling M&Ms in Sweden would amount to an infringement of Kraft Food’s trade mark in its “M” brand for chocolate coated peanuts following a Swedish court ruling, demonstrating the impact which national trade mark rights can have on global brands, and once again, the importance of clearance searches in key territories before launching a brand.
